From the Dale Earnhardt
Historical Series comes this throwback die-cast replica of the Belden
Asphalt Chevrolet Malibu that the Intimidator drove on October 9,
1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Remarkably, it was his only Winston
Cup appearance that year. Earnhardt didn't get much of a chance to
showcase his trademark gritty driving style in the 500-mile event
- the car gave out by the 25th lap. By 1980, however, he would capture
five wins and his first of seven Winston Cup titles. Relive the history
